    Testimonials

    • Let me introduce myself. My name is Elaine Browne, and I am a senior care assistant in Our Mother of Mercy Nursing Home. I have been working with the company for almost 20 years and in that time, I’ve made many good friends among staff, residents, and residents’ families.

Residents are very well cared for and kept safe within our home combined with lighthearted craic and laughter along the way. It’s a rewarding feeling to know that we can help our residents with tasks they are no longer able to do for themselves and at the same time promote independence.

All grades of staff are very helpful including Jackie – the home manager and Cathal – the owner. If we have any problems or concerns, they are both very approachable and willing to help resolve any issues.

We have staff from other cultures which is interesting as we hear and learn about their culture, and everyone works well together as a team.

In conclusion it’s our home away from home.
      Elaine Browne, Senior Care Assistant
    • My Name is Estelle Poucher, I'm a Senior Care Assistant in Avila Nursing Home. I have been part of the Kilmorey Care Team for 7 years. We are like one big family and go out of our way to help and support each other. My motto for being the best carer you can be is ''to be kind, honest, trustworthy and to treat each resident like they're your own family and recognise their individual needs" - Great place to work.
      Estelle Poucher, Senior Care Assistant
    • My Name is Vineetha Viswanathan, previously I worked in Singapore for 6 years as care assistant, at present I'm working in Avila Care home for one year as a Care Assistant. I love being a care assistant because I like helping residents and look after them. I like my job very much.
      Vineetha Viswanathan, Care Assistant
    • I have worked at St. Joseph’s Nursing Home for four years as a care assistant. My job is very rewarding and I feel I am making a difference to our residents. St. Joseph’s is located in a beautiful building on the coast of Carlingford Lough with great scenery and it has a warm homely feel which is very comforting for our residents.

I can safely say that the staff are some of the most pleasant and caring people I have met and will always do their best to assist and cater to all our resident’s needs. I would recommend St. Joseph’s to any of my own family who would need such service.
      Jamie Murphy, Care Assistant
