Kilmorey Care are delighted to announce the opening of our new dementia unit ‘Star of the Sea’ at St Joseph’s Nursing Home, Warrenpoint.
Our newly refurbished, one level unit is comprised of 14 bedrooms, a selection of which have ensuite bathroom facilities.
Stunning views of the Cooley mountains and Carlingford Lough ensure a peaceful atmosphere, where your loved one can enjoy their twilight years. There are 2 accessible outside garden and patio areas where residents can enjoy the sunshine and sea breeze. St Joseph’s nursing home has long been a part of the Warrenpoint community and has delivered generations of care to the elderly in the south Down area.
Residents are gently encouraged to avail of the activities we have on offer each day. Reminiscence therapy provides residents the opportunity to fondly remember their younger days and creates a positive atmosphere where stories can be shared.
On Thursday 1st June we welcomed Council Chairperson Michael Savage to open the new unit, along with the staff, residents and their families. A big thank you to all who attended.
